NET100 is Committed to a Safe and Healthy Workplace

As you know by now, we are in unchartered territory with the COVID-19 virus. It’s an unusual and fluid situation for all of us, so patience is a virtue.

The unique scenario we have as a company is that most of our employees work at client sites, rather than in one single NET100 office building. Many of our clients are issuing their own protocols for folks working within their building or spaces. All of our Account Managers will reach out to their clients for updates so that our employees can continue scheduled work at their locations. We are working their requirements into our daily scheduling, which is subject to change each day.

In addition to relaying and implementing our client protocol updates and NET100 issuing our own advisories and awareness updates, we will continue to follow the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), regional health departments, and the healthcare industry.

In an effort to help keep our employees safe and healthy, NET100 is issuing the following corporate directives:

  • Those experiencing a fever of 100.4° F [37.8° C] or greater, signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines (e.g. cough suppressants) are to notify their supervisor and stay home.
  • Avoid close contact. Practice social distancing within the project site or office, if feasible. Utilize a 6-foot separation distance when possible.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes. Advise bringing tissues to work and discarding used tissues in lined trash receptacles.
  • Clean hands often.
  • Avoid physically sharing items with others (e.g. tissue box, cell phone, writing utensil, etc.).

In addition, NET100 is implementing the following:

  • All BICSI courses are being temporarily suspended until further notice.
  • Conference calls will be utilized instead of in-person meetings with large groups, especially when a 6-foot social separation is not possible.
  • There will be no visitors within any NET100 office building, including children, until further notice. Exceptions include law enforcement, government officials, mail carrier services, and material deliveries.

This virus can cause as much concern as you allow it to, but essentially it is business as usual when it comes to the flu. When sick, stay home. When encountering someone who appears sick, maintain a safe distance. Contact us about our on-site safety protocols: (703) 995-5200 | info@net100ltd.com
